If you experience tripping electrics or items not working we have afew basic tips you can use to try and get the power back on safely.

  • Think?  Have you just plugged something in at the time the electrics tripped. Try unplugging it not just switching it off and then resetting the electrics.
  • What isnt working? Are all your sockets or lights not working or is the fault isolated to a specific area or room. Has any DIY be done recently including drilling holes or cutting bits or ceiling or walls?
  • Do you have outside sockets or lights? A common cause of tripping electrics in wet or cold weather is forgotten items left plugged in outside getting wet or an outside light failing and letting water leak in.
